My chosen charity for the year is Help for Hero's

          As you know my year started at the beginning of  January 2010 the first engagement was the Kirkley lodge dinner to which Sandra and my self were invited to this turned out to be a very good evening, the company was great the food was excellent to which we would like to thank the brother's for the invitation

          Next it was off to the Festival lodge lodge dinner and an evening of entertainment this was held at the same venue as the as the kirkley lodge this made it easier to find as we are now having to get to know our way around lowestoft, I would like to thank bro Larry for his persistence in taking my appeal box around the bro's

February

This was the month of the public investiture of the P.G.P. to which I would like to thank  bro Paul Payne for being the investing officer his guard of honour, Bro's P Sharman, C.Newman. and the others who helped to set up the hall for both nights and all the brothers who attended making it a night to remember for the rest of my life.

          Most of all the one's we all forget to thank the ladies of the Glades who do a lot of work behind the scenes, also we received an invitation to the glades dinner and social evening where we had a most enjoyable time

March

My officers and I paid a visit ton the Festival lodge where we were made most welcome for this I would like to thank the brothers for this, also for all the officers who supported me. 

 there also a pool night held at the Buff club this turned out to be a very good evening a lot of banter between the bros who supported of the event bro David was the winner with bro Bobby the runner up.

April

It was the turn of the Neptune lodge for our visit of the P.G.L officers I would like to thank the bro's for their warm  welcome also for the graze that they laid on for the evening. also in this month bro Andy was raised to the third degree

May

This was an eventful month what with bro Larry's raising to second degree, to bro larry I thank him for the privilege of being allowed to perform the ceremony and Danny's third degree. There was also a darts night held at the buff club to help raise funds for help for hero's my thanks go to the bro's of the Britannia lodge for their support without them there would only have been four or five other bro's there

June

There's is a P.G.L. visit on the 19 to the Dove lodge, on the 27 is the fishing competition at Lowestoft pier between 9-12 o'clock

Forthcoming Events

I am waiting for Bro Andy Dicker to get back to me about a country music evening at the Beccles club, the doubles dart night is in the planning stage more details to follow

Fraternal Greetings

 My officer's and myself paid the Dove lodge a visit on the 19 June where we were made most welcome, I would like to thank the officer's for their support, and to the brother's of the Dove lodge for their donation's to my charity ( help 4 hero's)
That evening we went to the Britinnia dinner this was held at Winterton, I would like to thank the organiser's for this event

Sunday 20 June was the golf morning and in the afternoon a B.B.Q this was held at Beccles Golf club,arranged by the Britiannia lodge, 2 bro's from Lowestoft had renewed their passport's so they were able to cross the bridge and attend, Bro's Alan and Andy put a lot of effort into this I hope this will be an annual event.

Sunday 27 june was the fishing morning there was 11 rods out and only two caught fish the event was won by Willy Mable who took the bottle of whiskey second was bro Ivan Foster he had a bottle of wine Thank you to all who came along to give the fishermen and ladies their support.

July
